FEE POLICIES

  • BAASL accepts the following payment methods:

    • Zelle is the preferred payment method for BAASL.  Use the BAASL telephone number (510) 900-9559 and name "Bay Area Adult Soccer League, LLC."

    • Apple Pay - (510) 900-9559

    • CashApp - using the BAASL telephone number and handle $BAASL.

    • We do not accept Venmo payments.

  • There are no refunds after team has been added to the league schedule.

  • The team registration fee ($100-$200) is non refundable. Due to team active waitlists in most BAASL leagues, there are no exceptions to this policy. Registration fees are folded in to the team fees.

  • Each team is required to submit a forfeit deposit every season, which is apart from the team’s registration fees (see details below).

  • A holding deposit is always credited towards the team fee.

  • Payments not received within 7 days of the league start date may result in forfeiture of the team/player slot. 

  • A late fee of $30 for 8v8s and $60 for 11v11s is assessed for all payments made after the beginning of the season.

  • Players and teams may forfeit their fees and spot in the league as a result of gross misconduct and/or violation of League rules.

  • Games cancelled due to severe weather, air quality, or any other circumstance outside of the purview of BAASL are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling, though we will do our best to reschedule a match according to field permit limits.

FORFEIT DEPOSIT POLICY

Each season, teams are required to pay a forfeit deposit (ranging from $100-$200) in addition to their team fees. Should a team need to forfeit a match, they are required to notify the league in writing by emailing info@baasl.org at least 24 hours before the scheduled match time of any anticipated forfeit. This allows time for the league to find an alternative opponent for the other team to play a friendly match. A forfeit where notification occurs within 24 hours of a match, a 2nd forfeit in the same season, or a forfeit of a playoff match results in the loss of a team’s forfeit deposit. If this rule is observed for the entire season, the team is eligible to carryover their forfeit deposit to a future season or request a refund after the season ends. Please note that the forfeit deposit is not automatically refunded to you. It must be requested by emailing info@baasl.org.
